Meet the Therapists

  • Monique Cleminson, PsyD, Clinical Psychologist at Open Mind Therapy Center

    Monique Cleminson, Psy.D.

I specialize in working with individuals who want to feel more confident, less anxious, and more empowered in their lives. Whether you’re adjusting to a significant loss or change, facing uncertainty or important decisions, exploring parts of your identity, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, we can work together to develop deeper insight into who you are and explore how your experiences, relationships, and patterns have shaped the way you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world. I also offer online therapy in New York and participating PSYPACT states, so we may be able to work together even if you’re outside of Illinois.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the experiences that have shaped them. Whether you’re working through trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, feeling stuck in patterns that are no longer working for you, or trying to create more connection and understanding in your relationships, we can work together to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and find practical ways to make things feel more manageable. My approach is warm and collaborative, with space for both deeper reflection and concrete tools you can use in your everyday life. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in creating the changes that matter to you!
